Detech & Associates was founded in 1991 with the aim to strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights as to promote investment and technology transfer into Vietnam.

During the period of more than 10 years of activities, Detech & Associates has turned from a small team of enthusiastic peoples to a leading IP Agent in Vietnam. Detech & Associates is now staffed with more than 20 competent professionals. Most of them were educated overseas and are  experienced from long-term practice in the field of protection of intellectual property.

Detech & Associates has also spent great efforts for developing close relationship with overseas patent  attorneys and, as result, it becomes the trusted IP agent for hundreds overseas law firms and clients. This professional relationship helps its clients and law firm partners to keep being informed on newest development and to effectively run their business in a fast changing Vietnam.

The practice of Detech & Associates is devoted basically to representing domestic and foreign clients in establishment of their rights (i.e. preparation, filing and prosecution of application) and enforcement of IP rights in Vietnam and overseas. Detech & Associates is also well experienced in consultation and prosecution of licensing agreement, technology transfer arrangement and related matters.
